Welcome to the 55th episode of the Remember My Name Podcast! This is the last of a three-part episode where I interview former Army Ranger Micah Faustin. For this episode, Micah talks about getting out of the military and how he coped with the loss of not only 3 teammates but his own brother and the emotion pain of what to do next.

He hiked the Appalachian Trail, which helped bring things into perspective and met someone in Tennessee who changed his life.
Now, he runs a consulting business where he trains people, churches, schools and law enforcement agencies in situational awareness, tactics, gun safety and many other areas.

Come join me in this final episode where Micah shares from his heart some of his struggles and how he found redemption, faith and purpose in his post-military life. I hope that his testimony can help others who have gone through similar situations.

While deployed to England, Reb and the 384th were sent to France and Germany for several combat missions.
During his final mission in September of 1943, Reb miraculously survived when a 20mm round hit him and he went down with his plane. Now as a POW, Reb had to survive numerous surgeries and a grueling life in prison camps. He eventually made it back to the US and was able to live a successful life as a journalist, husband and father.

Born in North Texas, Freeman was too young to participate in WWII with his 5 older brothers. However, he always wanted to fight as a Marine and planned on joining up when the time came. That time was in June 1950 at the outbreak of the Korean War. After basic and combat training, Freeman made a trip across the Pacific with the 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines. He fought with his fellow infantrymen on the front lines until his life almost came to an end when a grenade detonated in front of him. Freeman finished out the rest of his tour driving officers around and dodging mortar rounds. After the war, he married his sweetheart, had 4 kids and worked for Shell Oil for 30 years.

Now as an officer, Marcinco's experience and education were valuable in choosing the perfect anti-terrorism team the Navy had to offer. The first sailors of this top secret tier 1 special ops team were later known as SEAL Team Six. Marcinco would later go on to command Red Cell, another black ops team that would test the Navy's vulnerability to infiltration. After 30 years of active duty, Marcinco retired but he was far from finished with life. Listen to this incredible story of the Rogue Warrior, Dick Marcinco.
