Two young women, each with a bright future ahead of them, lost their lives in an instant at the hands of those they trusted most. One was killed by a possessive, jealous boyfriend, the other by a man whose obsession spiraled into violence. The case I have for you today is extremely harrowing and there’s a lot of detailed information on the actual death, because it was documented. It was filmed, and that audio and video recording was used at the trial. Because of the detail of the actual death, I certainly felt like I got a really clear picture of what happened- and to be honest, it’s haunting; I’ve not stopped thinking about it since I started researching.

As he approached the flats he saw blood on the ground and looked up to the railings on the wall that enclosed the courtyard at the bottom of the block. The near-naked body of a man was impaled on the railings. His head was facing towards the building and his legs were hanging down towards the street.
