Rudiger “Rudy” J. Ellis is is the CEO and co-founder of Switchboard Live, previously named Joicaster. Rudy has been in various senior leadership roles over the past ten years in both network operations and live streaming services.

Rudy has seen his fair share of live events over the past 10 years including streaming big tech conferences and LA award shows in to ten different YouTube channels, simultaneously.

Switchboard Live is a Techstars backed cloud computing company that helps users manage live and produced video, create workflows, and collaborate with the data they need across video sharing platforms to improve audience engagement and collect business information.

Their SaaS-based cloud product simplifies the workflow of sending live streaming content to over 30+ destinations simultaneously; (i.e. YouTube, Facebook Live, Periscope, Twitch, Ustream, YouNow, AppleTV, etc.) via a self-serving user dashboard or robust developer based API. Their platform has been used to amplify viewer reach for multiple events from various businesses such as EA, Alienware, Disney Interactive, Monster Energy, and Conan O’ Brien.
