Are You Experienced - Jimi Hendrix Experience (Review)

Record Roulette kicks off with one of the greatest debut albums of all time - the Jimi Hendrix Experience's Are You Experienced, which hits the 2020 Rolling Stone 500 Greatest Albums list at #30.
Unlike all of the rest of our selections, we decided to choose this album rather than select it at random because it really sets the standard for everything else. If this is the quintessential top-50 album, then we should be able to gauge where everything else should land. Are You Experienced has it all - excellent writing, musicianship, and vocals, paired with innovation and an influential legacy. In fact, it seems like it'd be hard to beat.
