“He was in a negative place mentally and emotionally. One night he started to wake up suddenly and would see a dark figure near his bedside. Shortly after waking, the figure would disappear. This went on for weeks before he told me, but something happened, he just couldn't ignore. He woke up with scratches on his leg after seeing this figure at his bedside one night. We tried to debunk it by checking the spacing between the scratches and comparing them to the cats and dogs in the house. We couldn't recreate this; it just wasn't possible. We concluded that this wasn't a coincidence and it had to be related. That day I told him we had to visit a little shop I frequented as a kid as I knew we needed to fill his room with religious objects for protection such as a few rosaries and blessed mother statues. Ever since we bought these items, nothing has happened! We were talking to a friend of ours who happens to be newly religious, about the experience and he said something that gave me a horrible feeling. He told us that the bible details that "the devil will come to you at your lowest point" to try and steal your soul or something to that effect. I told him that I knew this was detailed in the bible, but I always thought it was a metaphor or something!”

Was the ghost of a little girl still playing in the living room of a home now inhabited by a new family?

Here is a preview of the story. 

“When I turned nine, my family moved to a new house, within the same city, just across the town.  After we moved, my mom would still wake up with the handprints on her legs, and about a week after the move, they began showing up on my legs and arms.  After a few weeks of living in our new house, my sister and I decided to invite our friend for a sleepover; my mom told my sister and me a few years later after that sleepover that while the three of us kids were sleeping, she and my dad were sitting in the living room, they saw a young girl walk out of the hallway wearing a long white nightgown, it looked pretty similar to the friend we had over that night, so my mom had asked the girl "Jordan? Why are you awake?" She said that the little girl never answered; she just kept her head down and walked straight through the wall, my mom went to go check on us, but all of us were sound asleep in the bed.  My mom never saw anything else after that; no one did.  But sometimes weird things would happen, things would fall off tables or shelves, my dog would even stare at random spots in the house, he would never bark, but just kind of look at that spot for a few minutes.”
