Bankrupt Bodega's Creative Director and Street Photographer - Pat Bruener #028

In this episode, you have the opportunity to meet Pat Bruener, Pat was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa and still lives here to this day. In 2015 he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree in urban planning. He's worked as a bike courier, in restaurants, in a Community Development Center, in a print shop, as a freelance photographer, and most recently in the autonomous vehicle industry. Photography has always been his life and blood. Street photography and concerts have been a focus point for nearly ten years. Pat has also had experience with portraits, art photography, fashion shoots, 35mm film, engagements, and more. In 2018 he started Bankrupt Bodega, where he combines photography and fashion. He uses familiar photographs from around Pittsburgh and puts them onto clothing. He also partners with local charities that receive proceeds for a percentage of his sales. His vision for the Bankrupt Bodega is to collaborate with photographers in different cities and use their work to design and produce clothing, hold events and give back to their communities, and donate to local charities in their neighborhoods.
