This week on Random Telly Vision, we’re watching The Comeback!
That’s right, the show all about witty comebacks and put downs. The show uses hidden microphones to record people mid argument and capture their best ripostes. This does mean that there is a fair amount of uncomfortable viewing time, but it is more than compensated by the hilarity of the comebacks.
We’re talking nonsense of course. This is actually the tv show starring Lisa Kudrow as a washed up actress trying to revive her own career.

This week on Random Telly Vision, we’re watching The Night Shift.
Wildly popular with children and adults alike, the night shift follows the lives of nocturnal animals in cartoon form. Oliver the owl, Finnegan the fox, and Hannah the hedgehog teach us how they see, manoeuvre and hunt in the dark. It’s surprisingly graphic for an educational cartoon, but somehow retains its childlike innocence.
Of course it’s not. This is actually the tv series set during the night shift of a hospital that ran between 2014-2017.

This week on Random Telly Vision, we’re watching Delicious!
Delicious tells the compelling yet tragic story of the fictitious cannibal who discovered that his own body was unbelievably tasty. Inspired by Van Gogh, his slow descent into food based madness started with a nibble of an ear. The show charts his journey from discovery of his own tastiness, through his struggle to not consume himself, to his eventual demise in an accidental chip pan fire attempting to deep fry his last remaining finger.
Absolute nonsense of course. This is obviously the tv show staring Dawn French and Emilia Fox that ran from 2016 - 2019.

This week on Random Telly Vision, we’re watching Penny Dreadful.
A much loved, but often overlooked, satirical look at the life of misshapen coins from the royal mint. Centred around the eponymous protagonist (a rather dreadfully shaped penny) it follows her journey alongside the equally misshapen shilling and guinea.
We’re pulling your proverbial leg of course. This is in fact the tv series in part based on characters from gothic novels that ran from 2014-2016

This week on Random Telly Vision we’re watching Free Rein! You may think that it sounds like a misspelled show about a recently abdicated monarch. You would be wrong. Unfortunately for you, it’s much less interesting than that. It’s not a typo, it is in fact a terrible pun which hints toward the subject animal of this show. Which is of course...

Horses! Sorry to spoil it for you, but Free Rein is about horses. Neither of us have any particular experience of horses, so expect some wildly exaggerated ideas of how they behave.
