Mahashay Dayachand Ji Mayna was a great poet born in united Punjab, later Haryana. He was very famous for his Poetry in many other regions except for Haryana. He was honored as Rashatra Kavi in Haryana. Many of His poetry are being used in Haryanvi and Hindi Films for decades.
He belonged to a poor family, yet, his aim to be established in the well named poets shows his dedication towards his passion. He is famous for his Chulbuli Poetry and still being remembered on the behalf of his greatness. His Bhajans are being played in Holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi and also in Gurudwaras.
