So Long (for now), And Thanks For All The Fish
Purple Theory
01/19/23 • 27 min
Let's get right to it -- Parker and Grant give a brief tip of the hat to the national championship game before addressing TCU's hire of Kendal Briles as offensive coordinator. As this is a....touchy subject, we'd like to stress that all views expressed in this podcast are solely Parker's and Grant's.
And, as you may have guessed by now from the title, we're taking a bit of a hiatus. It's been a very long season and already the longest two weeks of offseason in history, and we need some time to plan out our strategy moving forward. We'll be back in your feeds before long with a new-and-improved Purple Theory. Thanks for sticking with us through the year.
Hasta luego!

Grant and Parker are joined by one of the football's best defensive minds, Chris Vasseur, to talk about college football defenses and specifically what TCU and Gary Patterson do that makes them so successful. Coach Vass clarifies common misconceptions, lays out patterns and rules for Coach P's defense, and discusses how offenses might try to counter punch.
You can find Coach Vass in many places across the internet, but his Twitter is the best place to start: @CoachVass
NOTE: We had some audio issues, so this episode took a bit to get it published!
