Dr. David Song is the Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Affairs for MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, as well as a Professor and former Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery, and the former Chief of Surgery at Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed residencies in general surgery and plastic surgery as well as a microsurgery fellowship at the University of Chicago, where he stayed on first as a faculty member, and then as the Chief of Plastic Surgery. Justin M. Sacks MD, MBA is the Shoenberg Professor and Chief, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis. He recently spent the last decade at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine where he was the Vice-Chair of Clinical Operations and Director of Oncological Reconstruction.

A graduate from Cornell University, Dr. Sacks received his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, where he also completed his combined general surgery and plastic surgery residency.

His research focuses on advancements in the field of vascularized composite allotransplantation, tissue engineering and vascular perfusion assessment. His clinical interests include the reconstruction of all forms of acquired, oncological and traumatic defects ranging from the head and neck to the breast, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities.

He is the co-founder of the Johns Hopkins Biotech Startup Lifesprout. In addition, his team has developed a pressure sensing device to help mitigate pressure sore development in the in-patient setting. Dr. Sacks maintains a robust clinical reconstructive practice while at the same time performing basic science, clinical outcomes and translational research. He has authored over 100 original publications in peer-reviewed journals and 20 textbook chapters on plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery. He serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery. Currently, he is the immediate past-Chair of the Plastic Surgery Research Council.

Dr. Jason Ko is a professor of plastic surgery with an additional appointment in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

He Duke University School of Medicine and then completed his plastic surgery training at Northwestern University under the tutelage of Dr. Gregory Dumanian. Dr. Ko went on to complete a hand and microvascular surgery fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle, after which he spent additional time at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan as well as the University of Tokyo. He joined the faculty at the University of Washington in 2012 and was then recruited back to Northwestern in 2016 where he is currently the Program Director of the plastic surgery residency program. He received his MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School in 2019, and he has since become the Vice Chair of Clinical Operations for the Department of Surgery at Northwestern and is involved with numerous administrative roles within the hospital and health system. He has served as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Hand Surgery American, and he is currently the Research Director for the Journal of Orthoplastic Surgery. He is also the Co-Program Chair for the upcoming AAPS Annual Meeting—along with Dr. John Kim. Dr. Ko has a practice focused on brachial plexus and peripheral nerve surgery, vascularized bone, upper and lower extremity reconstruction, amputee care and TMR.
