Planning to sailing solo across the Atlantic Ocean with Jim Schofield

Jim Schofield serial adventurer from Blessington in Wicklow is building his own 5.8 mtr long sail boat in his garden shed. This is to fulfil his lifelong dream of sailing solo across the Atlantic ocean. Jim talks today about what has driven him to take on this tough challenge. If all goes to plan, he will start his 3,600 mile journey later this year from Portugal hoping to arrive in the West Indies after a month of adventure on the high sea's.
