Practical Prepping Podcast

Practical Prepping Podcast

Mark & Krista Lawley

Practical Prepping Podcast is for everyday people.Helping you become prepared for whatever emergencies come our way. Where gear is good, but knowledge is better, because the more you know, the less you have to carry. Whatever the emergency, natural disaster, or man-made events which may disrupt daily life from minutes to months... from running out of gas, getting snowed in, going through a hurricane or tornado, even an extended SHTF event, we all need to be prepared. The government isn't coming to help. WE ARE ON OUR OWN! Family friendly listening, as we promise to keep it clean! We don's do bunkers with years of supplies in order to repopulate the earth after TEOTWAWKI. We aren't preparing to survive a nuclear war (probably wouldn't want to survive that one.) We do prepare to survive the actual threats that we are most likely to face, and we want to help you get prepared for the threats that you will most likely face. We'll keep it practical. That's why it is called "Practical Prepping Podcast Website: www.practicalprepping.info produced and provided by: www.prolinedesigns.us

Practical Prepping Podcast - Who Really Is A Prepper, And Three Levels Of Preparedness
play

12/04/23 • 33 min

The TV show “Doomsday Preppers” painted the prepping world in a very unfavorable light, and some people base their opinion of prepping based on that show.

I keep reading in various groups and forums where some people are saying that you must do this or that to be a prepper.

Well, I tell you that you don’t have to do any particular thing or have to have something specific to be prepared.

On today’s episode we are going to talk about who really is a prepper, and three levels of preparedness.

Practical Prepping Podcast - "Avoiding, Recognizing, and Treating Heat Related Emergencies"
play

07/19/23 • 20 min

Much of North America is currently experiencing extreme heat. Has been... and will be... for a while. Records for high temps have been broken in the history of record-keeping. Some blame climate change, others claim the earth has experienced far more extreme temps up or down in it's long history.
Despite our opinions, the high heat is serious... even life-threatening for some.

Hospital emergency rooms are overloaded with heat related emergencies...
We need to take some precautions, we need to know the signs, the symptoms, and the treatment.
That's what we are discussing today: "Avoiding, Recognizing, and Treating Heat Related Emergencies"
