Having hitch-hiked along Route 80 from Pennsylvania to San Francisco based on a premonition, a 17-year-old boy (Stephen G. Post) saw a youth leaning over a ledge of the Golden Gate Bridge, ready to end it all. Curiously, this was not his first encounter with the stranger in San Francisco.
In that moment Post realized that he and this youth had been brought together for a reason―to save each other.
