2022 Stanley Cup champion Josh Manson is today’s guest on the podcast. Josh is a defenseman for the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League. Originally drafted by the Anaheim Ducks (2011), Josh made his NHL debut with the Ducks in 2014. Earlier this year, Josh was traded to the Avalanche and was a key contributor to their championship run in Denver. In this interview, Josh reveals the physical and mental challenges of the playoff run and winning the ultimate trophy in sports (including his day with Lord Stanley’s Cup in Saskatchewan). He details the deal he made with God when his mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and given only three months to live. Sean Casey played twelve years in the Major Leagues while going to three All Star games (1999, 2001 and 2004). The former first baseman was hitting coach for the New York Yankees (2023) and currently serves as an analyst on the MLB Network. Sean was nicknamed “The Mayor” by his fellow MLB players for his outgoing personality and infectious energy. Sean retired in 2008 with the Boston Red Sox and finished his career as a .302 hitter with 130 home runs and 735 RBI. He was inducted into the Cincinnati Reds Baseball Hall of Fame in 2012. Clint was the 2013 National League Manager of the Year.
