Dr. Carolyn Dean joined us on the show today to talk about a topic we don’t discuss much on Extreme Health Radio.

We talked about the importance of minerals and why minerals are the key to building great health.

We talked a lot about how important magnesium is in the body. Magnesium is similar to vitamin D3 in the sense that it’s used by literally thousands of enzymatic process in the body.

Magnesium is critical for our health yet about 99% of people are magnesium deficient. We’re low in magnesium because magnesium is literally used in just about every aspect of our cells.

Magnesium seems to be used for everything, much like vitamin D3.

We also talked about the other minerals of the body as well, not just magnesium.

We talked about how many health ailments can be traced back to low mineral counts in the body. Some might argue that minerals are more important and necessary for our health than vitamins.

Personally I think both vitamins and minerals are equally important but people often overlook just how important minerals are to our health and vitality.
