Tomorrow is Random Acts of Kindness Day, so it feels especially pertinent to discuss why we take time each Friday to spotlight our weekly wins.
I believe that taking a moment to reflect, acknowledge, and celebrate our weekly wins is super important. Whether it's landing a major sponsor, hitting a milestone like 100 or 1000 downloads/views, or successfully sticking to your content production schedule for the week, recognizing these victories...whether you consider them big or small, gives us a boost of positivity and motivation. It's a reminder that progress is progress, no matter the size, and it sets a positive tone for the upcoming week. Plus, it's just a fun way to pat yourself on the back and say, "Hey, I did that!"
And it doesn’t have to be your content creation wins either. Maybe you nailed a presentation at work, or you finally got around to that workout, or you set a goal to drink enough water each day and you did it!
Today our community shares random acts of kindness they've witness or been a part of as well as their wins from the week...
[3:37] Ice-breaker: "Can you share a memorable random act of kindness you've experienced or witnessed recently?"
[6:24] Small acts of kindness in daily life.
[7:31] Random acts of kindness and sharing personal experiences.
[12:47] Kindness, wins, and support in a podcasting community.
[17:54] Podcasting, random acts of kindness, and industry events.
[27:44] Emotional moments and kindness on a podcast.
[36:32] Unexpected payback.
[38:22] Podcast sponsorship and personal growth.
[44:56] Tax benefits and sponsorships for podcasts.
[47:16] Kindness and connection with new neighbors.
[49:24] Self-promotion and community building.
[58:19] Podcasting wins, random acts of kindness, and upcoming events.
