Powell has lowered the risk overnight yet again with comments about inflation and interest rates. Our market taking a breather after the 107 point gain yesterday. The NASDAQ hits a record high. Some iron ore upgrades. Today we talk about whether bitcoin is an investment and look at the meaning of a strategic review and how it often means "Opportunity knocks".

We are back on track this morning after the 134 point fall yesterday. Wall St's 500 point fall on Friday has been followed by a 500 point rise on Monday. It looks like that 1000 point Yo-Yo was a "Quadruple Witching" effect rather than a "Sell everything the Fed are going to taper" panic. It's been a good lesson in not over-reacting in the short term. To cut through the short term to get to the themes that matter in the long term I invite you to send me your Post-It Notes today with your investment insights for the next year.
