Scars are an unavoidable part of surgery. Dr. Claytor's research on optimal scars was published in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal and WON best paper "Honorable Mention" for his pioneering work using Microneedling to create the most optimal scars. Hear the story of our patient who wanted her breast implants removed and how the microneedling treatment helped her to achieve the optimal results. At 6 months her scars are flattened and only a light color.

Our 36-year-old patient felt that her breasts were significantly deflated after having children she lost 3 cup sizes. We placed Saline 375 cc implants. She now feels more confident than before when walking into a room knowing she is not wearing a padded bra. Asked if anyone notices, she said, "Yes, because they look fantastic" but no one has said anything to her. "To have that curvature, feels amazing. No one can tell that I have a bra on. On her first post-op day, we have all patients come in to have a check up. We remove the surgical dressings and review her post op care instructions, which include details on showering and dressing changes. Since none of our patients have drains, there is no cumbersome drain to care to have to worry about. She will be back in the office next week to have her sutures removed.
