Once again Ouspensky has given us a chapter packed with gems and our panellists are well and truly onto them. In this podcast we discuss materialism, the life of an emotion, perpetual motion and does a dog need to know the weight of the sun (for that matter, do we?). Rest assured Pete Lancett does not disappoint with the odd rant or two (but we have to wait for the lavender diffuser to run dry first!).

We are covering our panel discussion for Chapter 19 in several parts and this is Part 2.

Oops Ouspensky, has Pete Lancett spotted a bit of a faux pas? Well he’s not going to let that go without comment! That aside, our panellists have a lively discussion on materialism and the differences between objective and subjective views of the world. We are also picking up what Ouspensky is putting down when he points out that while we continue to revere science as the font of all knowledge we are doing ourselves a disservice. It’s a short podcast this week but packed with opinion and debate and despite Pete’s rant at the start we are still agreeing with Ouspensky.

We are covering our panel discussion for Chapter 19 in several parts and this is the final part (Part 4). Well once again it’s been a huge chapter and Ouspensky has not slowed down on the way to the finish line either. Our panellists have much to discuss as we explore Ouspensky’s points on the different forms of consciousness from sleep to dreams to waking consciousness to the state of ecstasy. Ouspensky’s description of Nirvana elicits much conversation and we love how he has explained this one too.
