She has got Masters in Art from University of Tehran. She is also 2-time winner of Javan Festival in music performance. In this episode, Yasaman and I had a friendly chat about instrument of Qanun, Art scene in Iran and its road blocks for women to remain active and push boundaries. Importance of Persian folk music and its roots to revive Persian Culture. Also, social responsibilities of an artist in difficult days in which society goes through a difficult and major transformation.
