In 1986 Randy Lanier was crowned the Indy 500 rookie of the year with his 10th place finish in one of the most watched sporting events of the year, whilst similationsly running one of the largest drug trafficking operations in US history.
Randy went from being in the pinnacle of motor racing, funding his own team through his drugs operation, to a fugitive on the run, who eventually got caught and sentenced to life imprisonment with no parole.
After 27 years in maximum security prisons, Randy was eventually released and is now an advocate for marijuana drug victims.
This is the story of how Randy Lanier was able to simultaneously operate in high-stakes environments, turning off-the-track Colombian weed into on-track speed.

Nigel Johnson is a 46-year-old flying instructor in the RAF.
He started a journey when he turned 40 which has changed his life. Starting with running a 5k for charity with his daughter, this snowballed into ever bigger events, including marathons and Ironman triathlon.
He has raised well over £12,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support, in memory of his mum who died in 2000, so far. His current challenge, scheduled for June 2021, is a unique 9 day, 9 triathlons, 900-mile journey from John O'Groats to Land's End (TriJOGLE). He hopes to top £29,000 by completing this event, which will provide 1,000 hours of Macmillan nursing support.
We talk about how to start living with more purpose and challenge, inspire others and eliminate excuses to achieve goals, no matter how late you start!
