A guy who runs a flourishing creative business, but a guy who isn’t very good at freelancing, nonetheless.

In fact, Elliot is such a cool guy, he decided to join the coolest podcast on earth (that’s us), to discuss all of the incredibly important things about being a freelancer.
You know, things like his love for Caramel Macchiatos, and our dialogue on lattes vs. french press, backyard kangaroos that’ll punch you, ginormous spiders (i.e., “husband” spiders according to Arabela), inches vs. whatever it is that they measure things in, and talking to himself in the shower.

So, what’s your worst freelancing nightmare?
We’ll start.
Ours would likely include dropping the camera, falling on top of the set (like literally keeling over and just... falling on top of everything we’d spent hours putting together), and then maybe the computer catching fire with our clients standing right there.
By the way, that’s all one nightmare.
Another nightmare might be... oh, we don’t know... checking out your client’s house, and finding a tiny woman just standing inside an armoire? Just speaking from the perspective of an interior designer, of course.
Anyways, what’s yours?
(Yes, a tiny woman jumped out of an armoire and it’s in today’s stories episode. Jeez louise, you know how to get an answer outta someone, don’t you?)
As if the episode needed anything more than THAT, we also shared our personal freelancing pet peeves. In the process, we once again made it clear that we are not the resource to refer to when it comes to weather, time zones, pronunciation... literally anything.
