A Lesson On Love & Marriage
02/21/24 • 58 min
#68 - Today we peel back the curtain on an institute lesson that Jason & Allie taught a few months ago on love, marriage, and the sealing covenant -- their favorite topic. They testify of Jesus Christ and how striving to keep him at the center of it all has blessed their relationship with joy.
Here is a quote by Elder Robert D. Hales that is one of our favorites that goes along with the lesson: "Your responsibility now is to be worthy of the person you want to marry. If you want to marry a wholesome, attractive, honest, happy, hardworking, spiritual person, be that kind of person. If you are that person and you are not married, be patient. Wait upon the Lord. I testify that the Lord knows your desires and loves you for your faithful devotion to Him. He has a plan for you, whether it be in this life or the next.”

The Answer Is Jesus
#67 - There are definitely times in our lives when we don't really want to come to Jesus, or even let Him in. We might feel embarrassed, unclean, unworthy, or even full of sin. But that's exactly when and why we should let Him in -- because He is the answer to all of those problems and not the one who will make it worse.
Truly, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."

Our Imperfect Tested Faith
#69 - "Thou art not yet as Job," said Jesus to a suffering, despairing Joseph Smith. He continued, "The Son of Man hath descended below them all. Art thou greater than he? Therefore, hold on thy way ...Thy days are known, and thy years shall not be numbered less; therefore, fear not what man can do, for God shall be with you forever and ever."
In this week's episode, Jason & Allie share about the stretching -- and strength -- of faith and angels that have come amid some prolonged challenges in their lives. We hope this helps someone. We love you.
