Haiti asks for international support as criminal gangs there grow stronger

Just 600 miles off of Florida's coast, millions of Haitians face humanitarian, security, and political crises. More than one million people there suffer from acute food insecurity, cholera is spreading, violence has reached previously safe areas and the government appears powerless to provide solutions.
