Peter worked for many years as a surgeon, while Judy is an attorney and real estate agent.

Stuart Homer co-founded Golden State Greyhound Adoption (GSGA) with his wife Barbara in 2002. Since then, they have rescued over 1,500 greyhounds! With a dedicated team, they rescue approximately 32 dogs every three to four months.
Many of these dogs make their way from Florida racetracks to Northern California. Listen to today's episode to learn more about the greyhounds' journey, their wonderful qualities, and how they end up in loving homes.

Elizabeth Young and Ellie Paterson are with Palomacy Pigeon and Dove Adoptions. Elizabeth is the founder and director. Palomacy is a network of volunteers working together to save the lives of domestic, unreleasable pigeons and doves that would otherwise be killed in shelters for lack of adopters. Volunteers respond to calls from shelters, vets, and good samaritans to provide avian vet care for ill or injured birds, long-term foster care, and to develop adopters and place them into qualified forever homes.
