About ParenT(w)een Connection

When friends of Joe & Clarissa Constantine were going through a REALLY tough patch with their then-15-year-old daughter, the mom said, 'I just wish I had other parents to talk to.' It was like a lightning bolt for Clarissa, and The ParenT(w)een Connection was born. We knew we had the potential to make a huge global impact and went to the drawing board to sketch out a vision.

As it stands today, we have four unique but interwoven segments: ParenT(w)een Village, Trusted Expert Network, Online Communities, and ParenT(w)een Foundation. Learn more at www.parentweenconnection.com.

When your child is struggling at school - or at home - it’s easy to see the challenges as theirs alone. But as parents we can rethink the way we see these hurdles.

We get a chance to look at our role as parents in a big-picture kind of way and reevaluate how we approach their challenges. Looking at our kids with different lenses (or reframes!) gives us a peek into what’s hiding underneath our kids’ challenges - and our reactions to them too.

Join us as we chat with Scotti Weintraub of Reframe Parenting as we chat about our identities and our kids, our perception of ourselves relative to our kids’ struggles, and more!

Decision-making, self-confidence, and resiliency are all areas our teens struggle, but it isn’t just our teens who struggle with this - it’s everyone. How do we build these skills? We work on learning about our challenge zone, and how we know when we are or aren’t in the ‘zone.’ Leadership is something we learn and grow into.

In this conversation we talk about when we are in our challenge zone and how we step into that zone - with and without help from others! Join the conversation with Lorraine Connell of Peers Not Fears to learn what our challenge zones are and skills to help yourself and others step into them and step out of our comfort zones.
