Dave Frantz - Retired Psychology Teacher and Lakewood Ranch High School Golf Coach

In Dave Frantz's own words...My name is Dave Frantz, and I am a full-time Teaching Professional at Heritage Harbour Golf Club in Bradenton. I am a current High School Golf Coach and a member of the Florida Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame, and was voted "Coach of the Year" three times. I have four decades of golf teaching and coaching experience and I guarantee I can help you reach your goals!
I have been teaching golf classes, giving clinics and running camps for over 30 years. What sets me apart is that I am a teacher in every sense of the word! Most pros have spent more time in the pro shop than they have with their students. As a (retired) professional educator, (retired) golf coach, AND a teaching professional, I can help you see, feel, and think your way to better golf - and have fun while doing it!
I am hands-on, fun, and energetic. I use the Hudl Technique video analysis, Mevo Flightscope, a wide variety of training and instruction aids, and an experienced eye to identify problems and prescribe solutions.
I really enjoy talking to my students about their games, devising a plan that is convenient, affordable, and achievable- and having fun while "working" that plan. If it isn't fun, then I'm not doing my job! Helping a player see, feel, and execute shots they have not been able to consistently produce fuels my enthusiasm. That's something I've loved since my high school (playing) days!
