It's safe to say that Jerome Rand has a healthy addiction to Solo Adventure Sailing. Having sailed more than 70,000 miles on his Westsail 32 "Mighty Sparrow" he has experienced the highs and lows of life on the ocean. His most recent adventure was intended to be a relaxing Trade WInds sail around the North and South Atlantic Oceans. The reality was anything but relaxing when Jerome was turned upside down by a rogue wave 400 miles from Bermuda.

When on land, Jerome works in the marine industry, is the host of the Sailing Into Oblivion Podcast, and travels to various speaking events to share the stories and insights from his many adventures.
