Episode 23 - Interview with Bill Novomisle from Korum Legal
Panache Software Panachecast
06/17/20 • 42 min
Welcome to the twenty third episode of the Panachecast, Panache Software's round-up and analysis of the latest LegalTech news.
With everyone currently working remotely Neill took the opportunity to get Bill Novomisle, General Manager at Korum Legal (https://www.korumlegal.com/), onto the show to discuss innovation, process improvement, technology, and much more, within the legal industry.
Korum is “Your gateway to Asia” offering flexible, on-demand legal consultants, and advising on legal process and technology. Lawyers and technologists looking to expand to Asia should speak to Korum.
As Bill explains in our interview “implementation is easy, adoption is hard.” How should firms implement new technology? How does technology help deliver a better service? Can your LegalTech be monetised?
Bill has some answers. He is a former litigator turned legal operations specialist. After working in private practice in New York, with experience as a pricing director, Bill transitioned to in-house roles at TD Bank and PepsiCo. Bill’s experience of consulting stretches far: from the US and Canada to China, Hong Kong and India.
There’s a whole world of experience available in our interview with Bill.

Episode 22 - Interview with Orbital Witness
Panache Software Panachecast
05/19/20 • 38 min
Welcome to the twenty second episode of the Panachecast, Panache Software's round-up and analysis of the latest LegalTech news and events.
We were over the moon (pun intended) to host Edmond Boulle of Orbital Witness on our show. Ed, a former barrister, and his co-founder Will, a former economist, created a LegalTech startup while working in the space industry.
In our discussion with Ed, we delve into how Orbital Witness got started, the key role that the accelerator/incubator scene played in their success and some key partnerships they have made along the way.
Orbital Witness is an exciting company. They are on a mission to provide information about properties in a new way and to offer something more than just raw data. The ability to quickly get a risk profile on a property has the potential to be a game-changer.
Whether you’re are developer or investor, a banker, surveyor or lawyer, anyone with an interest in property transactions should acquaint themselves with Orbital Witness. Start by watching our interview with Ed.

Interview with Nerds of Law
Panache Software Panachecast
11/02/20 • 53 min
Video Link: https://youtu.be/bVD4NHg2Drk
We caught up with Katharina Bisset, a genuine legal tech expert, based in Austria. Having spent part of her career in IT and now a practicing attorney, Katharina is so enthusiastic about tech that she co-founded Nerds of Law with Michael Lanzinger.
Nerds of Law offers legal tech consulting services. They have a blog and a podcast, and are even developing their own software.
We discussed the Austrian legal market, it’s challenges with comparatively restrictive regulation, opportunities for legal tech providers, and changes coming in the legal tech scene there. Brexit, COVID-19, Mac vs Windows, process improvement: just a few things you can expect us to cover in this episode.
