Welcome to Episode 214! Boy, oh boy, the news these days is chocked full of trash, and to add to the difficulties of the daily news, we lost a titan of the silver screen. The circumstances seem almost unbelievable and with each announcement, the more wild the events become. Each week thus far it has seemed new shocking details have emerged and now we await the final determinations.
This week, The Boys are reviewing the mysterious deaths of multiple Oscar winner Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy, at their home in Santa Fe. While recounting the details we know, Casey and Mark get to spilling the tea about the lesser known announcements and fact, building a case for what they think brought about the demise of the loving couple... not too mention Betsy's beloved pooch.
Kicking things off, The Boys are paying their respects to Dolly with the loss of her husband leading into a read for the Academy Awards 'In Memorium' with a few icons missing from the list on the broadcast. Do you eat when you're feeling emotional? Mark sure does (and don't let Casey fool ya, he can too!) and he's talking with you about it.
Trash Talk topics this week include a substitute teacher who took students poor behavior into her own hands, 'transgendered mice' in front of Congress, and an alleged cannibal goes gay... well, almost.
It's a light-hearted episode this week, Kids! The Boys are bringing the hilarity from the headlines, discourse from page six, and as always, the faggotry of your GBFFs! So fill your cup with some delicious port vintage and pull up a seat to the table with your gay ass besties. It's time to paint!

30 Day Report Card
You've been waiting for it and here it is -- It's the Season 6 Premiere of Painted Trash Podcast: Your LGBTQIA+ Podcast of Hilarity, F*ggotry, and Discourse! The Boys are back from the Season Break Hiatus and they are firing on all cylinders, giving you all the tea of the the week and their break between seasons.
This week, in their premiere, Mark & Casey are reconnecting. Life sure has been lifeing over the break, but The Boys are back, Baby! This one's a doozy! The punditry took a break before the season break after the shocking and horrifying end to the 2024 Election Cycle. Now that there's been some distance and time to reflect, Casey & Mark are more horrified now than before the new "President" was sworn in. This week The Boys are giving a report card on the first 40+ days of the Dump's second term. Let's just say it ain't been pretty and there is much to discuss from executive orders, to trans bans, rewriting history, and disassembling our government, and more.
Kicking off this premiere, Casey & Mark are catching up about life and sharing a few laughs surrounding the weeks and last couple of months as the reconnect, and a unqiue and thoughtful toast for Season 6!
In Trash Talk, Casey is spilling the tea on a expensive lawsuit filed by a rapper against Lyft (you won't believe all the deets on this one), and Mark is warning you of a potential danger of snowmobiling and helping direct the help coming in.
Of course, there's a recommendation for you from each of The Boys -- both streaming gems!
It's the Season 6 Premiere and you've got a seat at the table with your Gay BFFS, so pour yourself a celebratory glass of Port Vintage, grab your colors, and pull up a chair to the table. It's time to paint!

It's Mayhem!
Welcome to Episode 215! The Boys are back this week and they've been hitting the dance floors dropping it down. The summer hits are just starting to hit our services and the concert line-ups are getting released, all with Coachella on the horizon! And we have received a major release from one of our icons and vocal activist ally.
That's right y'all, this week Mark & Casey are giving you the rundown on the latest release from icon, legend, and star, Lady Gaga. Mayhem is the songstresses 6th solo album and in many ways is touted as a return to the style that made her a musical sensation. In this week's Midsection, The Boys are sharing their reactions and thoughts on each track --- complete with their overall feelings on the albums entirety. Haven't listened yet? Mark & Casey got you covered here.
To kick off the episode, The Boys are commiserating on the illnesses going around and the folks who've gotten caught up with 'em. Casey is talking about dealing with stress and Mark is talking about feeling the emotions. All leading to up to a discussion on -- you guessed it -- food!
In Trash Talk this week, some openly transphobic actions made by a trash chairperson of a committee for the US House and the epic clapback that's got bigots turned out. Mark is then bringing you the tea on a Federal Judge who must be a listener because she had to read the Department of Justice attorneys for the Department of Defense defending their action of banning transgendered people from openly serving in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces and North Dakota's legislature showing their homophobic ass.
Oh yes --- we have recommendations for you too!
So fill up a nice glass of your tasty port vintage, pump of the volume, and pull up a seat to the table to join in this week's kiki with your GBFFs. It's time to paint!
