#85 How a small change in your home environment can lead to big change

Watching our Tiny Dwarf Rabbit explore my office space today with a full floor carpet was exceptionally entertaining. He started out by just strolling around sniffing cables, biting binders, looking into the recycling paper bin and sitting still just watching the new space. Then all of a sudden he went crazy. Like totally cray-cray. He took off like a rocket. The usual surface he has under his little paws is either his cage or our tiled floors. The carpet in my office was PERFECT for him to explode into bounces, sprints, ultra-fast twists and turns, and he just went round round round and back and forth for a full hour. Someone's gonna sleep well tonight! I let my work wait and enjoyed the performance. And after it had me think: how could this little animal give me so much joy just watching him? Then I realized! I got to watch a creature be put into its optimal environment for him to demonstrate his full glory of special tricks, world-class sprints, and turns without any effort at all. It was phenomenal. When was the last time you experienced yourself perform in an environment that is optimized to your unique skills and talents? Are you sleeping in a bed that is optimized for your needs? Is it time to upgrade your home environment? Or perhaps your social circle? Watching a little rabbit transform into an extremely skilled bouncing sprinter made me wonder how much better, faster and happier you and I can get by making small changes in our environment! Shall we try?
