Overhated

Could a Coen brothers' film be (gasp) overhated? Let's sit down with film critic / author / biographer Shawn Levy (@shawnlevy) and find out! (He's also a poet.) Big thanks as always to all listeners and patrons.

This workmanlike action flick came and went back in early 2006, but considering it showcases some strong work from a great director, an immortal action star, and several rock-solid character actors, it definitely seems worthy of a revisit. Stephen King fans will remember this one as "the movie he sued," and won, but beyond that nobody really remembers The Lawnmower Man. My friend Ben Rock (@neptunesalad) does, to a point, and he explains why here. I remain unconvinced.
