We have summoned the first book in Sarah Spade's Sombra Demon series, "Mated to the Monster," just like Shannon summoned a huge, hot demon named Mal. Who hasn't accidentally summoned a demon from another plane when you think you're casting a love spell, only to find out they're your fated mate and have been waiting a thousand years to meet you?

We go through the rest of Imogen Keeper's After the Plague series and we are beginning to feel hope again! For once, though, Rachel had not finished the final book (Haven) when we recorded, so we leave it up to you to read the ending. Does our recipe holds true? Should we keep doing long series? Should Frankie have biblically accurate angel eyes?

Two sisters review spicy romance books. One reads them. The other...is excited to be included. We go through the first book, "Broken" in Imogen Keeper's After the Plague series and it hurts so bad we had to split this series into two episodes. The first book--a novella--starts in the midst of a plague that wipes out 99% of humanity. This one is heavy with grief, death, hopelessness, and finding purpose anyway. We initially reviewed the whole series in one go, but realized it needed longer in the oven, so we have split the review! Please enjoy this first course, and come back next Saturday when we present the rest of the series and give our recipe~!

It is the second in Quinn's post-apocalyptic reverse harem series, and we are foaming at the mouth for the third one to come out.
