Moving Out: Life Imitates F.A.R.T.
Ours, Played
05/20/21 • 34 min
Packin’s takin’ up our time, we’re stressed and wanna shout. Life’s boxed up in cardboard ‘cuz we’re.....movin’ out. Not sure if Billy Joel inspired this co-op game, but in this episode, we blur the lines of reality and gaming by playing the hilariously frantic moving simulator, Moving Out, by DevM Games and SMG Studio while also packing for our real life move. Don’t just stand there - everything’s gotta go!
In this episode we cover:
- The benefits of children’s educational games played by adults
- Farts. Yes, really.
- Which part of speech is fart. Again, yes, really.
- The efficiency of chucking possessions rather than carefully moving them
Game Details:
- Name: Moving Out
- We played it on PC.
- Also available on: PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch
- Developer: DevM Games, SMG Studio. Published by Team17 (same folks who bring you Overcooked and Overcooked 2)

To pair with Moving Out, we recommend moving out of your home - just kidding!
- Home decor shows - there’s a million of them out there, but two that got me through getting ready to move were Tidying Up with Marie Kondo and Get Organized with the Home Edit - both on Netflix!
- Moving liquor and beer is a pain... so our suggestion is just drink whatever is left.
- For us that was tequila, pineapple juice and a lime wedge. It gets the job done.
