You would think that the opposite of the wise and faithful servant is the unwise/foolish and faithless servant. However, when Jesus spoke of this servant, he contrasted it with the evil servant. If you don't know the will of the Lord, by default, you will most likely not be doing the will of the Lord. So, understanding the will of the Lord is vital to giving one the opportunity to make the decision for oneself to either be a wise and faithful servant or an evil servant.
