The friend of a missing adventure tourist begins to receive strange text messages and voice calls from an unknown source. Thinking either the phone or the Telcom is the problem they trade in the phone. But almost immediately, the messages appear again, this time with an invitation to join the caller, whom they begin to suspect is their lost friend. They realize the texts contain a GPS location and go there but discover a digital siren has led them astray. Makeshift Stories is a proud member of the Alberta Podcast Network "Locally grown. The Great Moon Hoax

An anonymous letter written in 1899 claims the great moon hoax was perpetrated 65 years earlier by an unknown individual rather than the reporter thought to have done it. The letter writer argues the whole affair was an attempt to distract attention from a prominent event in the sky they didn't want the world to notice and implies there have been other similar interferences throughout history.
