She is the Queen of quips and one liners, Mom to two children, proud new Grandma and stay at home caregiver to her autistic daughter. Nicked named "Fearless Leader", she is know to be very vocal and handy with the use of her seemingly endless supply of "Can'O'Whupass". She has entered the contest for the radio show with an entry dubbed "Above Resilience" as a resource for parents and caregivers of special needs individuals, to be their lighthouse, the light at the end of the tunnel, throwing a life preserver and reassuring them that there is a good life to be lived, one of abundance and joy, just a few steps past survival and resilience. She currently resides in the hills of West Virginia with her husband. Jody Ann has 2 grown children who, with their spouses, have given her 3 grandsons that call her Mémère and melt her heart. She has collected rocks as long as she can remember. As a child, she came home with rocks and or shells (still does) and, now her house is covered with them. She says, “I love the energy and healing they bring.” Jody Ann collects spheres as well, and loves to wire wrap so the stones can be worn. She keeps her wraps simple so the stone is the star, rather than the wrap. Jody Ann loves the healing aspects of crystals and rocks and enjoys sharing her love of rocks. She has taken the Hibiscus Moon Certified Crystal Healer Course and loves her approach because Jody Ann comes from a science background as well. She has a degree in in medical lab technology. Today there are six chapters and over 155 events are offered by the organization. For the past 15 years, thousands of women have benefited from Company of Women. Anne is also the author of six books, focusing on women in business and a prolific blogger, including the Huffington Post. She is the editor of her local community newspaper. Giving back is important to her and she has served on several boards at the local, national and international level.
