Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
One and Done TV
06/23/22 • 119 min
On this very walk-and-talk episode of One and Done TV, Ian and John go behind the scenes for the 2006 NBC drama Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip created by Aaron Sorkin! Matthew Perry, Bradley Whitford, and many more star in this bizarro 30 Rock, giving us a backstage peek at a pseudo-SNL and the conflicts the audience doesn’t get to see! Chock-full of dramatic Sorkinistic rants, there were too many things happening at once in this 22-episode show-within-a-show. Ian is surprised by DL Hughley’s Inspector Gadget role! John talks about his father’s girlfriend Kristin Chenoweth. Ian and John double doink (go Bears!) and play the John Poelking Soundboard of Incensement.

Bob Patterson
One and Done TV
05/26/22 • 90 min
In this very post-Seinfeld episode of One and Done TV, Ian and John motivationally speak about the 2001 ABC sitcom Bob Patterson starring Jason Alexander and Chaundra Wilson! The titular Bob Patterson is “America’s Third Most Popular Self-Help Guru” who happens to be simultaneously egotistical and the butt of every joke. This ratings bomb only aired for one month and viewers were not fond of Jason Alexander’s first project since playing George Costanza. Ian and John share their thoughts on watching The Batman. The guys decide they’ll never forget where they were when Big Trouble was delayed. They struggle to comprehend who John Tesh is and why he never breaks a contract. All this and less...much, much less.

Freaks and Geeks
One and Done TV
10/20/22 • 106 min
On this very renowned episode of One and Done TV, Ian and John don’t give a damn about their reputations with the 1999 cult classic NBC teen comedy-drama series Freaks and Geeks created by Paul Feig and executive produced by Judd Apatow! Head under the bleachers with the burnouts and dweebs of McKinley High School, made up of some very familiar faces such as Linda Cardellini, Jason Segal, and Seth Rogan. Arguably the most famous One and Done, this show explores the lives of teens navigating weird and wild moments involving feathered haircuts, a Pink Floyd laser show, mathletes, and beyond! Thank God You're Here
One and Done TV
11/24/22 • 74 min
On this very character-driven episode of One and Done TV, Ian and John say yes, and to the 2007 NBC improvised comedy show Thank God You’re Here hosted by David Alan Grier and judged by Dave Foley! Each week, celebrity guest stars are thrown into hilarious and quirky improvised scenes in front of a live audience without any prior knowledge to the scene’s context, always starting with the line, “Thank God you’re here!” upon their arrival. Ian and John share the television shows they are most grateful for. Ian looks forward to a second helping of Severance (sorry folks, no one and done here). John helps us understand pimping...in an improv setting, obviously! The hosts give thanks to the always on-point Ana Gasteyer and Jane Lynch, scoff at denials in the scene (basic improv 101, c’mon people!), and go through their own histories with performing on stage. Plus - spoiler alert: Joel McHale apparently has hair plugs. Happy Thanksgiving, ya turkeys!

On this very self-governing episode of One and Done TV, hosts Ian and John find themselves mysteriously stranded with the 2019 Netflix teen drama The Society starring Kathryn Newton and Gideon Adlon! Upon returning from a canceled field trip, a class of high school seniors discover that their entire community has disappeared and they are marooned within their isolated town surrounded by a dense forest - the students work to understand these mysterious circumstances as they try to survive à la Lord of the Flies. Ian returns to The Office via Superfan Episodes on Peacock! John attends the Milwaukee Film Festival and catches the “Bambi meets Apocalypse Now” animated film Unicorn Wars! Join Ian and John as they scrounge for food and party like there’s no tomorrow (or parents or internet or rest of the world or anything) while they discuss class superlatives, poison pies, the second act of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, and the importance of English literature. Plus - listen up for a first ever One and Done TV occurrence that’ll rock your world, even if it’s in another dimension!
