Today’s guest has been to all seven continents, visited well over 70 countries, landed a dream job at Instagram, then quit, and is now a travel entrepreneur and a digital nomad. More impressively, she did it all before she turned 23! Please join us in welcoming Gen Z travel entrepreneur and the author of You Are Where You Go: A Traveler’s Coming of Age Story, Caitlyn Lubas. In this episode, Caitlyn shares what traveling has taught her about empathy and how it has helped her gain confidence. She also has some amazing practical advice for students who are looking to take advantage of their institution’s study abroad programs and travel as much as possible while doing it; from minimalist packing tips and saying ‘yes’ more than you say ‘no’ to keeping your travel costs down by taking overnight busses rather than flights and trying out the street food, for example! Listeners in college are going to benefit most from this fun and functional conversation, but it’s full of great insights from a traveler who is definitely wise beyond her years. Make sure to tune in today!
Today on On Arrival:
