Rodriguez is one of the most fascinating artists in rock history, a songwriter who initially failed to sell nearly any copies in the US yet - unbeknownst to him for years - was a superstar in Australia and South Africa. He was deprived of those royalties because legend had it that he had committed suicide on stage - twice. You have to see the Oscar-winning 2012 documentary "Searching for Sugarman" to understand it all, but he's joins us for an interview that was as odd and iconoclastic as Rodriguez himself.
