What is Nother Realm about?
Nother Realm is a dimension of magic and adventure fueled by tabletop RPGs! Join us as we weave tales filled with action, mystery, drama, and plenty of comedy! In our first season, The Neverthere, we use 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons… kinda. We focus on creating the best story possible, so we bend the rules quite a bit to make that happen. Follow the adventures of Archibald Theodore Cromwell, Six, Margbark Smothe, and Osiris Teasun as they try to deal with the ghosts of their pasts and the mysterious disappearances plaguing the kingdom of Attoria. They’ll soon find that the things they care about the most sometimes disappear like they were never even there at all.

Why did you start this show?
We love tabletop RPGs and wanted to experience the collaborative storytelling inherent in the best actual-play podcasts. It's also difficult to schedule a gaming session with friends, so this project made it a priority for all of us.
What do you hope listeners gain from listening to your show?
We hope that listeners will experience the adventure and mystery that the cast does as we participate in the narrative. We want Nother Realm to provide that escape into a fantasy world where anything is possible and excitement is around every corner.
Which episode should someone start with?
If you're not ready to jump into the large narrative of our current campaign, The Neverthere, you should start with Saving Shiverfest parts 1 and 2. You can listen to how we tell stories, do voices, and perform as a team in those two episodes. After that, episode 1 of The Neverthere is the best place to start!
What is your vision for your show?
We want to tell original stories that are captivating, funny, and heartfelt. Eventually, we will explore new ways to collaboratively tell these stories.
How did you come up with the name for your podcast?
We made a lot of jokes while coming up with the name. Nothing stuck and everything we thought of sounded like an existing podcast. Eventually, we landed on the line "brother from another mother" and found that Nother fit most of the projects we were trying to launch. Since the podcast will take place in multiple universes, we thought it was an interesting take to say that we're heading to another realm. Then we made it harder to Google by removing the 'A.'
