C. Renee Little is a Christian, 1st generation American (Nigerian and Liberian descent), wife, friend, sorority sister, play Auntie/Godmom, and a district judge in North Carolina. She graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2000 and Clark Atlanta University in 1997 with a BA in Speech Communication.
In this episode, Renee shares her strong desire to become a wife, her excitement about one day being a mother (while celebrating her childfree life and barriers to motherhood), the impact of her family on her upbringing and adulthood, and her relentless dedication and committment to children and juvenile rights. She boasts to be a proud childfree Auntie and is affectionally known by her nieces, nephews and her girlfriends' kids as, "Auntie Fabby". Dr. Gillians shares that although she is childfree - she is not childless - mentoring and claiming many of her college students as her own. She reps New Jersey to the fullest and loves the Black Girl Magic that has been sprinkled over her throughout years by her family and community. Her personality and style is like no other - which draws you in closer to her. Dr. Gillians is actively involved in her community and is passionate about Black youth - with a focus on bullying, suicide and law enforcement.
