The Tea Cup Killer
No Body, No Crime
01/30/23 • 45 min
5.0
Graham Frederick Young 7 September 1947 – 1 August 1990, best known as the Teacup Poisoner and later the St Albans Poisoner, was an English serial killer who used poison to kill his victims.
Obsessed with poisons from an early age, Young began poisoning relatives and school friends by lacing their food and drink with thallium and antimony. He was caught when his schoolteacher became concerned by his interest in poisons and contacted the police. In 1962, at the age of 14, Young was charged with administering poison to his father, sister and schoolfriend and detained at Broadmoor Hospital. Young would later claim responsibility for the death of his stepmother, although he was never charged with this crime. The presiding judge stipulated that Young should not be released without the Home Secretary's authorisation for 15 years.

Podcast Q&A
Why did you start this show?
Coming towards the end of Covid Me ( Charlie ) & Lou were sat on Facetime in the summer of 2021 just talking and thought it was a good idea to start a podcast on true crime comedy. We started with a show called The Chaz & Lou Show but we felt it didn't really fit the topics we was talking about so we took 6 months off and came back with No Body No Crime, the name came from one of the tracks from Taylor Swifts Album Evermore.
What do you hope listeners gain from listening to your show?
We want listeners to feel like they're in the room with us having a conversation kinda vibe, one of my friends Scarlett said it just felt like she was chatting and agreeing with what ever was being said like she was in the room with us. We just want people to feel at home with us not like they are listening on there own but with us when they listen if that makes sense.
Which episode should someone start with?
what ever they feel like.
Which have been your favourite episodes so far?
that's a hard one i would probably say something spooky it based off personal experience when we lived in a pub.
What is your vision for your show?
we would love to take it on tour we've seen a couple of podcasts take their show on the road and we think that would be such a cool thing todo.
What is your favourite other podcast that isn't yours?
so many Morbid, Sipping With Snapped, Crime Junkie, Murder With My Husband. that just a few.
How did you come up with the name for your podcast?
Charlie's a massive Taylor Swift fan and loved the song No Body No Crime off Evermore
