“Worship Must Be Stronger Than Idolatry”

Idolatry is the worship of idols?

Idolatry the worship of someone or something other than God as though it were God.

Worship - To kneel, to bow, to lay face down in reverence.

Worship Is Kingship Expressed

And idol is anything more important to you than God, anything that absorbs your heart and imagination more than God, anything you seek to give you what only God can give. We think idols are bad things, but that's almost never the case. The greater, the good, the more likely we are to expect that it can satisfy our deepest needs and hopes.
