When was the last time you were outside, laying on your back with your big beautiful eyes gazing at the stars without distraction? In those moments, the only thing that seems to run through my mind is the pure magic of existence, the gratitude of experience, and the humility of myself. Even if you can remember a night like this, I bet it’s been nearly impossible to put a strand of nights together in this situation throughout your life. Most of us escape to the great outdoors only for a few days before we are suctioned back into the “work for money” life. What would it be like to disconnect for an extended period of time and live in the wilderness like our distant ancestors? Sarah Wallace just finished hiking roughly 2,650 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail, which spans from the Mexico border to the Canadian border, and it drastically changed her view of life forever. She noticed her personality warp, her compassion expand, and her sense of awareness explode to new realms. She morphed from extrovert to introvert in finding the serenity of spending time alone, but none of these miraculous transformations came without suffering, grit, or physical exhaustion. I’m pumped to share episode 22 with Sarah because we explore who she was before the hike and who she is now. (and it’s a beautiful switch) We also rage into conversations about the detoxifying forest, the power of true community, gear tips, living a meaningful life, and the benefits of synching with nature’s circadian rhythm. It’s not easy to open up discussion about personal trauma, hardships, or the feeling of life ‘falling apart.’ As humans, it’s more comfortable to retreat, hide, and busy ourselves with bullshit in place of confronting the obstacles. Lately, there has been a glorious explosion in the exploration of Mother Ayahuasca in the western world, and although many have flocked to the medicine without intention, preparation, or even respect for the power, the Mother is awakening mass healing in those who are aware, prepared, and respectful.
I’ve spent several years educating myself on Ayahuasca through deep conversations and other various resources, without actually exploring the medicine myself. It really isn’t my time yet, and I have faith that I’ll know when it is. But, as I opened up my laptop to meet with Mary Shores for a discussion about business, I forgot that she had just returned from a 10-day Ayahuasca ceremony in the Amazon rainforest, guided by the powers of Ayahuasca. Naturally, our conversation explored this experience and the healing that lifted her out of her life-long hardships and trauma.
Anyone that has explored Ayahuasca may know that it’s generally impossible to put the experience into words that others can understand, but in this episode I was blown away by Mary’s ability to do just that! If you are interested in rebirth, healing, alignment, and awakening.. this episode will guide you into those powers.
Special thanks to Paul Lam for connecting me with Mary, as this conversation directly healed several deep personal hardships I have been experiencing.

Never Stop Peaking Minimalism Episode
In this episode: Stacking Cash and "Things" Never Creates Long-term HappinessAs media and marketing flood our brains with the idea that success is defined by how much we earn, many of us rate our happiness based on the materialistic belongings and cheddar-cheese we stack up. As soon as we receive something, we immediately start craving more.
Why are we rarely content with what we already have?
Having a desire for more is a great characteristic when it comes to creativity and developing the self, but it can be a terrible characteristic in relation to stacking cheddar cheese and possessions if our money and materials aren't in alignment with our purpose or hero's journey.
If receiving and collecting isn't the answer to happiness, then what is?
Giving and being of service.
A Habit of Giving Creates Warm Fuzzy Feelings ForeverWhen you give something to another person, whether material or in service, a physiological response happens within you. That warm fuzzy feeling you had as a free-range child running barefoot through the wild comes back and helps you make sexy-time with your happiness muscles.
When giving without motive, your brain releases pleasure endorphins, including oxytocin, which is also released during sex and lowers your stress. Oxytocin makes you feel more connected to others, which is why people often pay forward random acts of kindness.
Giving is a domino cycle of warm fuzzy feelings that increases the collective bond of the world.
Ideas for Giving Gifts and Being of ServiceIn this episode, I share a few stories of my transformation through gift-giving, as well as a bunch of ideas on how you can give gifts and be of service today, without expectation or motive.
The Universe will always give you what you put into it, so don't think so much about what you are losing. Think about all the peace, serenity, creativity, and love you will be gaining.

The Tickle Monster Effect

Have you ever laughed so hard that you accidentally ripped a monster fart in front of other people... and then laughed even harder because of the sheer awkwardness of the situation?
What about laughing so hard that you gushed some pee through your undies and pants?
Remember that feeling of wild, uncontrollable joy?
The tickle monster is an angel of abundanceUncontrollable laughter actually raises your vibrational state. It removes the space between you and your happiness. It feels good.
Laughter is an emotional manifestation of abundance, just like tears of joy, gratitude, orgasms, and love. The tickle monster is an angel of abundance.
When was the last time you laughed hard enough to pee your pants? When was the last time you helped someone else rediscover their giggles?
Peeing your pants is coolGremlins want you to pee your pants out of fear (not cool). They don’t want you to know the power of peeing your pants through joy and laughter (super cool).
They want you to react and have meltdowns. They want you to be the victim.
You are not the victim. You are a kickass starlight fairy giggling symphonies of love and abundance throughout the galaxy. No matter how hard it gets or how much pain you feel— you are fundamentally a child of love and light. You deserve laughter, joy, and fuzzy love.
When all feels dark, what if you respond with peace and ease instead of reacting by feeding chaos and disease?
It's not about your beauty and bullshitLife isn’t about what ‘happens’ to you. It’s not about the beauty that happens to you, and it’s certainly not about the bullshit that happens to you.
Life is about how you choose to respond (not react) when it happens.
A response is rooted in awareness. It supports growth toward the highest version of yourself. A reaction is an ignorant trigger that usually just feeds ongoing negativity.
What if you respond to the hard stuff in life in ways that support elevated health, happiness, and play?
What if every time you feel shitty or off you simply respond with ways that make you feel good?
Oh baby it feels sooo goodA few powerful and abundantly available ways to feel truly great are:
Sweating, real food, sunlight, forest bathing, saltwater, hot/cold baths and plunges, sex, flowers, drinking clean water, earthing, meditation, good sleep, fasting, playing, creating, exercising, dancing, meeting new friends, and laughing.
Be a contagious fireball of laughterYou have the power to pull yourself out of any funk by leading yourself into a self-contagious laugh. (see idea below)
When you start laughing more, the light-hearted energy transfers to those around you and increases the beauty of their moods, too. Each day, if you can make one person smile— or laugh so hard that they tinkle in their undies— your day is not wasted.
Creative maniac quote & idea for you“Totalitarian systems are notably devoid of humor at every level. Laughter, which brings acceptance and freedom, is a threat to their rule through force and intimidation. It is hard to oppress people who have a good sense of humor. Beware the humorless, whether in a person, institution, or belief system; it is always accompanied by an impulse to control and dominate, even if its proclaimed objective is to create prosperity or peace.” -David Hawkins, Power vs. Force
Today, stand up with your hands on your hips and force yourself to start laughing. It will feel awkward because maybe you don’t feel happy and nothing seems funny. However, the obnoxious fake laugh will domino into a rampage of contagious real laughs. You won’t be able to stop. It is hilarious. Do it. Keep doing it.
Do it until you accidentally fart and someone else hears it. Laughing is how we save the world.
