Narcissist Apocalypse: Patterns of Abuse

In this episode of Narcissist Apocalypse, Tammy shares her story about meeting her future husband on Tinder. He quickly pushed Tammy's boundaries, and manipulated her into thinking it was because of life experience and cultural differences. The abuser isolated Tammy from everyone, so when the physical abuse began, she didn't have anyone to turn to because of the shame attached to it. Tammy eventually sought help, obtained an intervention order, and began healing, reflecting on the parallels between her abusive partner and her manipulative mother.

It's a story of intimidation, shame, guilt, trauma bonds, gaslighting, manipulation, financial abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, sexual assault, suicidal ideation, isolation, intergenerational trauma, put downs, and depression.
