This week we asked our Nillie Athlete, Owen Meister, to interview a few athletes from across the country about their experiences within the NIL world. We also asked Owen to share his own story and experiences. Athletes interviewed include Dante Sellari from West Essex High School, Abellany Mendez from Montclair State University, Sean Moran from Notre Dame University, Jenna Rogers from the University of Nebraska, and Jemal Williams from Lincoln University.

We break down some of the biggest expenses and revenue sources associated with collegiate athletic programs.

We brag about the success of athletes in the Savannah area, including Savannah State’s Nyla Allen and Georgia Southern’s Jalen Finch. We also talk about Auburn gymnastics’ spectacular hype.

We discuss California Assemblymember Chris Holden’s proposed College Athlete Protection Act, recruit Jaden Rashada’s reversal from his commitment to Florida, the Texas One Fund’s Meet and Greet event, and the launch of the 1861 NIL Foundation.

We discuss the merchandise sale success of Nillie Athletes Kedrick Edwards, Nasir Frederick, and Ethan Brown. We also discuss our favorite recent NIL deals, including the launch of Emma Weyant’s swimwear line with Sporti and Johntay Cook II, Justice Finkley, Anthony Hill and Kelvin Banks’ deal with Vanguard Volkswagen.
