I really enjoyed these two hours with special guest and seasoned paranormal investigator, Heather Taddy. We discussed everything from demon spirits, to skinwalkers, to extraterrestrial contact. Paranormal Researcher and Investigator Heather Taddy is known for her work on A&E’s hit television series Paranormal State, which is based on real-life investigations from the world-renowned Penn State Paranormal Research Society (PRS). While studying Film and French at Penn State University, Taddy trained as a Field Investigator for PRS while also traveling the country helping families living in haunted houses. She's known for isolating herself in a haunted location's most active area while documenting her experiences. Taddy has worked alongside the legendary Lorraine Warren, and was inspired to join PRS after attending one of her lectures.
Taddy teamed up with UFO Researcher, Investigator, former law enforcement officer and leading cattle mutilation investigator-Chuck Zukowski on a journey to search for definitive proof of UFOs alongside America’s Alien Highway. Together, with Chuck’s son Daniel Zukowski, they pursue cases that authorities ignore, find the evidence that others have missed, and interview witnesses that are otherwise afraid to come forward. Ken Summers, author of Queer Hauntings: True Tales of Gay and Lesbian Ghosts, shares with us how he found himself investigating ghosts and spirits who are gay, lesbian, transgender or bisexual. An intriguing line of thought because most paranormal investigators ignore or miss obvious signs in this regard, yet never miss discussing the past heterosexual romances and relationships of the lives of those who now haunt us. Ken Summers is a paranormal researcher, history aficionado, part-time traveler, variegated artist, and purveyor of strange tales and forgotten hauntings. The ever-apologetic creator of the "orb color chart," he has always endeavored to balance open-minded fascination and humor with logical questioning in the pursuit of truth. Unlike many self-described experts in the field, he isn't afraid to admit that he doesn't have all the answers, and where others argue over the existence of ghosts, UFOs, Sasquatch, and other mysteries, Ken sees the true value of supernatural stories as a means of keeping interesting, forgotten history alive.
He has long been fascinated by the most obscure, forgotten, and unusual stories and incidents related to the paranormal. That quest for the strangest of the strange developed into a blog series of "Queer Paranormal Road Trips" in 2008. Currently, he's busily at work researching for a follow-up book, once again delving into the mysterious realm where 'weird' and 'queer' blur together.
