Rusty Decker, troubled kid, and a victim of the system, finds himself back in Branford for the fourth time, after living by his wits on the street. His friendship with Birdie, and fascination with Sheba, begin to warm Rusty’s heart, win his trust, and change his life. Rusty notices a concerning transformation happening from within: he’s beginning to care about others.
