Early Murray: Meatballs (1979) and Stripes (1980)

Phillip starts the show with a little bit of the Stripes theme, then he talks about what he has been watching at home and in the theater, then he plays a little bit of Lisa Loeb's Are You Ready For The Summer. Then we get into the episode. This episode Phillip is joined by his cousin Chip. They start out by talking about Phoenix Fan Fusion and Jason Bromley and Talking Poop Podcast being live. Phillip talks about how nervous he would be and would probably talk too long if he didn't have someone to make him end the show. They then talk about Meatballs and whether they have ever been to summer camp. They go into some facts about Meatballs and what they like and/or don't like about it. Then they talk all about Stripes and dive deep and how they love the graduation scene. Then for some reason they start talking about scenes in movies that scared them as children. For Phillip it was The Thing (the dog splitting open). For Chip it was The Shining (the old lady in the shower). For both of them, it was Poltergeist (tearing at his face in the mirror). It's a fun episode and we have a good time. We hope you do too.

You're Gonna Need A Bigger Shark: The Meg (2018) and Jaws (1975)

On this show Phillip is joined by his cousin Chip who had never seen The Meg or Jaws (until now). First though Phillip makes some corrections from his previous shows. He starts by talking about what he has seen in the theaters or at home; 47 Meters Down (2017), Ip Man 2 (2010), Robocop (1987), Charles Laughton Directs The Night of the Hunter (2002), Midnight Run (1988), Knightriders (1981), Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee (2019), Open Water (2004), Red Heat (1988), She Gods Of Shark Reef (1958), Live Like A Cop, Die Like A Man (1976), Moving Target AKA Death on the Run (1967), Once Upon a Time...In Hollywood (2019), Netflix's Point Blank (2019), and C.C. & Company (1970). Then Phillip and Chip begin to talk about Marvel's Phase 4 and Disney streaming service. Chip tells Phillip about a Marvel video game that he is playing. Then they start talking about The Meg. Chip says whenever he thinks of Jason Statham he thinks of him having sex with Amy Smart in Crank. Chip talks a little about Neil Gaiman and script changes. They then dive deep into Jaws. Chip talks about what he liked from never seeing it before, but knowing all the pop culture references. Chip also talks about how Brody's ending line, "Smile you son of a ....!" may be the first one liner in Hollywood history. They then talk a little about Chip moving to Florida and the movie called Crawl. They end the show by talking about how Phillip's wife would kill him, and how he should always 'lawyer up' because he loves to talk. It's a fun show.
